In 2008, award-winning photographer Simon Harsent approached us to create an identity for his services. Having had a wealth of experience in all areas of professional photography, he wanted an image that not only reflected his work but also his personality as a photographer. Citing his interest in surf typography, we developed a typographical look and feel that supports his imagery. For his name cards, we created 3 designs with different background images from his various photographic disciplines, which enabled him to give out selected name cards to his potential clients based on their interests. Besides developing his website, we also explored building an iPhone friendly site which allows him to display his online portfolio on the go.
