The identity of Syndicate, an audio/visual collective based in Singapore, was developed as a modular system of type that can be reconfigured in various formats. Its cryptic look mirrors the music and visual style of the collective. For each of their events, a limited run of 80 A1-sized posters were printed on an architectural plotter and sent to a selected mailing list. The art direction on the poster was based on random visual experiments, and a few designs were short listed for use in the final executions. We gave all the posters a 'gallery' feel to reflect their artistic approach towards music and design.
